Rule 5 – Refund Of Initiation, Assessment, And Dues

5.01  REFUNDS ON ANNUAL DUES  

There shall be no refund of annual dues unless application for membership termination is made in writing within one month of the date of membership acceptance.  See rule 5.02 and 5.03 herein, for further clarification.

5.02  REFUNDS ON MEMBERSHIP CLASSIFICATION

There shall be no refund of Retainer/Social, Out-of-Town, Doubles Only Squash, Daytime Only, Early Bird, Junior or Fitness dues paid for any membership year.  See rule 5.03 herein for further reference to Out-of-Town membership.

5.03  MOVING OUT-OF-TOWN  

Excluding membership classification covered under Rule 5.02 hereof, in the event of a member qualifying as an Out-of-Town member as outlined in the Bylaws, dues which have been paid shall be refunded as follows:

80% refund to July 1st

60% refund to September 1st

40% refund to November 1st

and NO REFUND thereafter

5.04  ILLNESS, INJURY, PREGNANCY, OR VACATION

No refund of dues shall be required to be given in respect of a member’s illness, injury, pregnancy, or vacation, regardless of duration.

5.05  REFUND PAYMENT

When a refund is being issued, where payments are made on a monthly basis, the additional administration fee will not be included.
