ENTRY DEADLINE:

Monday September 3, 2024 @ 6 PM

Payment must be made at VRC office, also due on September 3, 2024 @ 6PM.

Draws and start times will be posted by September 6 on the club bulletin board and on the club website.

PARTICIPATION:

Tournament is only open to all adult VRC members of the 2024-2025 year.

GRAND PRIZE DRAW

Saturday September 14 evening: a free membership will be awarded (minimum 50 players total)
Membership category awarded will match player’s current category.
Do not have to be in attendance.

AGE GROUPS AND EVENTS:

Open, 30+, 50+ Men’s and Women’s Singles, Doubles, Mixed Doubles

At this time, we are only limiting the event to one age group. If you’re playing doubles or mixed, you must ensure you and your partner meet the criteria set out above (i.e. you both are 50+, and signed up in that age category)

EVENT SCHEDULE:

Monday, September 9 (7 pm start) – Men & Women’s Double 30+ and 50+
Tuesday,  September 10 (7 pm start) –  Men & Women’s Singles 30+, 50+, and Open
Wednesday, September 11   (7 pm start) –  Men & Women’s Doubles and Open
Thursday,  September 12  (7 pm start) – Mixed Doubles – 30+ and 50+
Friday, September 13 (7 pm start) – Mixed Doubles – Open

Saturday, September 14 (9 am start) – Finals – All Events

Schedule is tentative and may be changed depending on number of entries. Matches are played up to 21, best of 3 games. Format will be single knockout.

ENTRY FEE:
First Event – $40
Additional Events – $10 per event

Two shuttles provided per match, Finals will be provided 4 shuttles

Please make payments to the VRC office. If we do not receive your payment by September 3, you will not be eligible to compete.

SOCIAL:

Saturday, September 14, 12:00PM – a burger and drink will be provided for participants.

Those who only want to join us for the social can pay $20 to get a burger and a drink on Saturday.
